In 2012 my wife and I had our first kid, and the #daddylessons began. I started posting before he was born, then started cataloging the posts on Twitter after he was born. Here was the very first one:

My name is Hector, and this journey of parenthood has brought with it many things. Among them are sleep depravity, a robust caffeine addiction, and opportunities to learn and enjoy every phase of parenting. This blog is a running chronicle of those efforts with the lessons I’m learning along the way, from a working dad’s perspective.

We have two awesome boys, Noah and David, and a girl, Selah. Once they find this, they will probably force me to stop writing about them, but until then, enjoy!
