If you’re just joining, here’s a post recounting our CRAZY FAMILY GOAL to visit all 50 states before our oldest graduates high school.

Back in June, we visited Michigan and Wisconsin for a little work, a little play, and a lot of freezing cold water in Lake Michigan. Seriously, how do people swim in that?!

On the way back south, we had to stop in Chicago to give the kids a taste of the Windy City. Their review of the infamous Giordano’s was pretty brutal, but ironically, we finished the large pizza so it must have still hit the spot.

Our goal is to hit 7 more states before the end of this summer. Coming up we plan to visit:
